Games are a main and inseparable part of the human society. People used to play games in order to recreate, compete or in some cases for the purpose of exercise. But that was the reason of playing games in old times. But today the meaning of playing games has changed.

Now-a –days, people don’t just play them to recreate or compete but even opt them as an option of earning a living or choose them as a career option in same way as music, arts or literature. The games that are commonly opted as career options are cricket, chess, tennis or mostly soccer games. Soccer games are also known as Association football.

This name was coined in order to distinguish it from the various other forms of  football games, especially rugby football. The players in this may range up to a maximum of 11in each team including a goalkeeper to guard the goal post. Like various other games, this is also played around the world in various tournaments and competitions but the most important of them is the FIFA World Cup. This is guided by the highest recognized governing body of association football, the Federation International de Football Association or simply the FIFA and the world cup is commonly termed as the FIFA World Cup.

Today we can play these games on the internet or as video games. We can play cricket or chess or tennis or even soccer games by sitting in our house instead of running around in a field.
